Mr Hodonu Daniel, the officer in charge of the building, told the  News Agency of Nigeria  on Wednesday. Daniel said that the number of tourists that visited the 172-year-old structure was higher than the 9,009 recorded in 2017. NAN  reports that the foundation of the building was laid in 1842 and was completed in 1845. “We recorded more tourists toward the end of the year when there were different festivals organised by peopleand the Local Government Authority attracted tourists to the site. “Around August, we celebrated Coconut festival and many tourists that came for the event visited the site. Also during Diaspora festival, many foreigners came to the site. “These were just the reasons why the site recorded a high number of tourists in 2018. “I’m sure that the patronage would be higher this year if the Federal Government will complete the reconstruction of the Lagos- Badagry Expressway which is discouraging tourists from visiting th...

Offset's mistress, Summer Bunni, who people blame for Offset and Cardi B's separation, has exposed some intimate details about Cardi and Offset's life. According to Summer Bunni, she and Cuban Doll aren't the only people who had an affair with Offset while he was married to Cardi B. Summer says Cardi B's best friend, Star Brim, also had sex with Offset before she went off to jail. Star Brim and Cardi are very close and Cardi has constantly made it clear that she will fight anyone for Star, who is currently in prison on credit card fraud charges. Cardi B visiting Star in jail But, Summer is now claiming that Star wasn't as loyal a friend to Cardi as Cardi has been to her. Cardi has been known to go after women who had extramarital affairs with Offset. Now, people are wondering if she will fight her best friend when she comes out of jail in 2019. Oprah Winfrey's mother, Vernita Lee, has passed on, age 83

Vernita Lee, 83, died on Thanksgiving Day, November 22. The family just confirmed the death and Oprah's niece Alisha Hayes gave a bit more detail on social media. Vernita Lee with Vernon Winfrey had Oprah Winfrey in 1954. Because Vernita moved to Milwaukee to work as a maid, she couldn't raise Oprah and the TV host had to be raised by her maternal grandmother. When Oprah turned 6, she moved to Milwaukee to live with her mother. Oprah says her relationship with her mother was rocky because of the long separation. But their relationship eventually got better. Vernita is survived by Oprah and Patricia Amanda Faye Lee and grandchildren Alisha Hayes, Chrishaunda Lee Perez, Aquarius Lofton and Andre Brown, as well as great-grandchildren Jaxon Praise Perez, Chai Theresa Perez, Donovan Hayes and Trinity Hayes. A private funeral service has already been held.
