A driver is lucky to be alive after being involved in a serious motor accident in Imo state. According to reports, the accident happened on Thursday by 10 p.m (yesterday) after the driver who was said to be speeding lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a building along MCC road in Owerri, the state capital. Kester Gabriel, a 500 level Material and Metallurgical Engineering student, went swimming in the Otammiri river in Ihiagwa area of the state but drowned. Kester had been on Industrial Training, IT, and only just returned to school on Sunday. He drowned three days later, on Wednesday, November 21. His body has been recovered and deposited in the mortuary. Friends have taken to Facebook to mourn him.
