Speeding Driver Rams Into A Residential Building In Imo State

A driver is lucky to be alive after being involved in a serious motor accident in Imo state.

According to reports, the accident happened on Thursday by 10 p.m (yesterday) after the driver who was said to be speeding lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a building along MCC road in Owerri, the state capital.

The driver and car occupants survived the crash which partly damaged the residential building.

Mr Hodonu Daniel, the officer in charge of the building, told the  News Agency of Nigeria  on Wednesday. Daniel said that the number of tourists that visited the 172-year-old structure was higher than the 9,009 recorded in 2017.
